This time next week a team of intrepid walkers from LexisNexis Leeds and London will already have started their attempt to walk the Peak District White to Dark Trail to raise money for charity.
This time next week a team of intrepid walkers from LexisNexis Leeds and London will already have started their attempt to walk the Peak District White to Dark Trail – this is a 27 mile walk from Bakewell in the South Peaks to Hope in the Northern Peaks. It is a tough challenge over some of the Peak District's most beautiful scenery and is normally intended to be done in 3 days but the team are going to attempt to walk it in under 12 hours. The purpose of this challenge is to raise funds for 2 very worthwhile causes:
- Cancer Research – raising funds for research into cures for cancer
- The Lullaby Trust (on behalf of Alexander's Charity Ball) – raising funds for research at Great Ormond Street Hospital into Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
