The power of PDF

Post by |

These days, most documentation is sent in PDF format. This protects the integrity of the document but also allows it to be opened on a range of devices.

There are various ways documents can be converted to PDF, quite often these are external converters available on the internet or the advisably more risk averse option, via Microsoft Word functionality to save documents in PDF format. Although the same end goal is achieved, this process requires unnecessary effort and time from the end user. By integrating this process into Visualfiles, this same goal can be achieved automatically, saving around one minute per document.

Where emails are generated within a workflow with Visualfiles documents attached, simply using the “PDF” parameter on the “&Mail” command, can remove any manual effort involved - another quick win for your end users and organisation.
