An integration with…

Your fee earners will be accessing and using multiple applications every day - whether the tools are internally deployed or accessed externally. Some of these applications may be non-legal (e.g., a HR system), used for research purposes (e.g., Lexis+ AI), used to complete specific case tasks (e.g., InfoTrack), or used for the management of  cases (e.g., a practice management system).

Chances are, such applications used to complete specific case tasks or assist with the management of the case, require a level of data exchange between them and Visualfiles. In an environment where these applications are not integrated, it results in your users needing to re-key the same information into multiple applications. This not only duplicates effort but increases the risk of incorrect data entry.

Take an integration between Visualfiles and your practice management system. When a client is created in Visualfiles, the same client is also automatically created in the practice management system. If the address was to then change for the client, by changing the address in Visualfiles, the same change is automatically reflected in the practice management system. Essentially, the integration between the two systems removes the need for the user to enter the same information into multiple systems, thereby also reducing the chance of data inaccuracy in either system. To illustrate, in a manual process, it could be possible that the address in Visualfiles could be different to the address in the practice management system if the user forgets to update the latter application.

Visualfiles has multiple ways it can integrate with third-party applications. By integrating multiple systems, your users will spend less time switching between different software, reducing the time taken for data entry, and significantly shrinking the risk of data inaccuracy.

Dave joined the team in 2013 as an Associate Application Consultant, working his way up through the ranks to Senior Application Consultant. In August 2021 he decided to make the move into Project Management and was responsible for a variety of projects with differing needs and complexities, from Upgrades through to new Implementation.

In January 2024 he embarked upon a new venture with LNES and became a Client Advisor. Using his love of client collaboration and his unique, creative spark, Dave wanted to get back to doing what he does best, helping clients improve their use of Visualfiles.

After hours, Dave still has his work cut out for him as a dad to an energetic toddler and baby, and arguably the most emotionally demanding of all, time spent being an Everton fan!
