Dave joined the team in 2013 as an Associate Application Consultant, working his way up through the ranks to Senior Application Consultant. In August 2021 he decided to make the move into Project Management and was responsible for a variety of projects with differing needs and complexities, from Upgrades through to new Implementation.
In January 2024 he embarked upon a new venture with LNES and became a Client Advisor. Using his love of client collaboration and his unique, creative spark, Dave wanted to get back to doing what he does best, helping clients improve their use of Visualfiles.
After hours, Dave still has his work cut out for him as a dad to an energetic toddler and baby, and arguably the most emotionally demanding of all, time spent being an Everton fan!
Esther began her career in law, completing her undergraduate and postgraduate studies with a focus on International IP Law for software. She gained hands-on experience in legal practice across litigation, employment, consumer rights and human rights in London, giving her a strong understanding of legal workflows. She was an early legal-tech enthusiast and investor, developing blueprint concepts for matter management and client portal systems during her time at university. Her decade-long interest in technology, combined with her legal background, inspired her transition from traditional practice into legal tech.
After spending several years living between London and Los Angeles, she developed a broad perspective on both the UK and US legal tech markets. During her time in LA, she connected with local Product Management groups, strengthened her user-focused design skills, and closely followed OpenAI's early AI developments before its UK launch. At LexisNexis, she now brings these experiences together to help shape innovative solutions for the modern legal industry, advocating, upon joining Lexis in 2023, for an integrated Lexis product ecosystem to enable an end-to-end lawyer experience.
Outside of work, Esther enjoys yoga, travel, stand-up comedy, filmmaking, drama and exploring elements of monastic living.

Nigel has led the product function since 2013 and has worked with Visualfiles since it was first released. With wide experience the legal sector, including Head of IT in 2 separate law firms, before joining Solicitec in 2004, he has also worked in the NHS and served for 9 years in the RAF, in the UK and overseas. Outside of work, Nigel lives in Gloucestershire and is married with 3 grown up daughters. He is a long-suffering Gloucester Rugby season ticket holder, hoping rather than expecting! Aside from the rugby, Nigel is a qualified hockey umpire and a keen photographer.
